This is pretty much what happened to Championship Manager a few years ago when Sports Interactive parted company with Eidos, took all but the franchise's name and handed over the Champ Man reins to Beautiful Game Studios, who were forced to start the series from scratch. They'd still be Chelsea, but the rebuilding process would take years. The layout and controls of the game, especially on the PlayStation Portable, have been made much more complicated since Championship Manager 2006.Imagine If Chelsea were suddenly stripped of their millions and ego-driven superstars.
A demo has been released on the PC and is available on the Championship Manager website. A new Match Analysis tool has been added to the game which includes many stats for each team and player at the end of a match. Also, for the PSP, numerous features have been introduced such as staff feedback on team selection, and team talks.
